Alexa Phelece – Founder & President
Alexa Phelece is a model, content creator, and mental wellness advocate who founded Every Body Deserves Love (EBDL) to help people feel seen, supported, and worthy—just as they are. Drawing from her own journey of self-acceptance, Alexa built EBDL as a movement that blends body positivity, emotional health, and community empowerment.
As President of EBDL, Alexa has led the organization in creating inclusive programs and partnerships that promote healing, confidence, and connection. With years of experience in nonprofit leadership, social media strategy, and public speaking, she uses her platform to make self-love practical and accessible in the post-COVID digital age—helping others move beyond comparison and rediscover real connection and purpose.
Jeanette DePatie – Board Member
For over two decades Jeanette DePatie has served as a pioneer in marketing, interactive technology and content development. She has put her considerable expertise to work in communications at all levels from helping an executive team at a Monsanto subsidiary roll out an international product launch, to helping small children learn about the human body in a set-top game for the latest Magic School Bus® DVD. Jeanette DePatie has been involved in some exciting recent projects, writing and producing the content for the NAB Show Floor Mobile Tour App, executive producing the iOS Dance To It App, producing a technology/art demo with Intel’s Creator’s Project and Vice Magazine for Coachella, writing a best selling book, and producing literally hundreds of hours of LIVE streamed content. Jeanette has also produced content for a wide variety of clients including Adobe, Disney, Fox, Google, HBO, Konami, Panasonic, Paramount, Sony, Universal, and Warner Bros.
Peter Lee – Treasurer
Peter Lee began his journey with Every Body Deserves Love as an intern and quickly became one of the organization’s most trusted and passionate leaders. With a strong background in finance, team development, and organizational management, Peter brings both analytical precision and heartfelt dedication to EBDL’s mission.
As Treasurer, Peter oversees financial planning, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring that EBDL’s resources are used effectively to expand community impact. Known for his problem-solving mindset and collaborative leadership style, he is deeply committed to building systems that support transparency, sustainability, and growth. Peter’s ability to balance numbers with empathy reflects his belief that every great mission deserves a strong foundation—and that love and accountability can coexist in leadership.
Dr. Miguel Reyna – Board Member & Training Facilitator
Dr. Miguel Reyna is an educator, counselor, and advocate dedicated to helping people feel seen, valued, and empowered through identity-affirming education and mentorship. With a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from California State University, Long Beach, Dr. Reyna’s work centers on belonging, resilience, and inclusion—especially among gender-expansive and underrepresented communities.
As a Board Member and Training Facilitator at Every Body Deserves Love, Dr. Reyna leads our Helping Skills training series, guiding interns through the foundational stages of exploration, insight, and action. His approach helps students and volunteers deepen their self-awareness, strengthen empathy, and develop the tools to hold safe, supportive space for others.
Beyond EBDL, Dr. Reyna has served in higher education and nonprofit leadership for over a decade, including positions at Loyola Marymount University, CSU Fullerton, and St. John’s Community Health. His work continues to bridge education and healing—empowering future leaders to serve with compassion, integrity, and heart.
Marissa Solorzano – Internship Program Manager
Marissa Solorzano first joined Every Body Deserves Love as a dedicated intern and quickly became a cornerstone of our leadership team. Her passion for people, purpose, and progress led her from learning within the program to managing it—mentoring new interns, facilitating community partnerships, and bringing compassion into every project she leads.
As Internship Program Manager, Marissa coordinates impactful programming with partners like Illumination Foundation and Thomas House Shelter, ensuring EBDL’s mission of love and empowerment reaches those who need it most. An allumni of California State University, Fullerton with a degree in Business Administration emphasis on Entertainment & Hospitality Management, Marissa blends professionalism, creativity, and heart. Her journey embodies what EBDL stands for—turning self-discovery into service and leadership.
