Every Body Deserves Love is very excited to invite you to our Virtual Heart Circles Support Group remotely every week on Wednesdays from 5:30 pm to 6:30 PM. This support group is overseen by Dr. Marcia Martin and facilitated by interns from the Every Body Deserves Love organization. Dr. Marcia Martin holds a Ph.D. in Theology and master’s degrees in psychology and metaphysics, is an ordained metaphysical minister, bestselling author, and speaker. As a spiritual empowerment counselor, she helps people heal from emotional trauma and rebuild their relationship with themselves.
The main goal of the Heart Circles Support group is to reach out to our community in the hopes of creating a foundation for self-love, self-growth, and opportunity. Everything said during our sessions remains confidential, meaning the information is shared among the participants of the sessions and with no one else. Times can get tough, and that’s why EBDL is offering an inviting, comfortable space where you can connect with others and share your thoughts on the topics presented to everyone who joins our sessions. The Heart Circles Wellness Support Group focuses on healing, community bonding, and sharing personal presence within a safe and judgment-free environment.
According to the support group’s manager, Dr. Marcia Martin, “The Heart Circles Support Group allows self-love to blossom. It’s a safe place for you to share from your heart and be supported in your personal growth journey.”
Each session is divided into four parts. First, a quick introductory meditation session to help ground ourselves and relax our minds and bodies.
Next, participants ease into our discussion with an icebreaker question to encourage participation, as the group looks forward to seeing others open up about their thoughts, daily stressors, and feelings toward the idea or question being discussed.
This is followed by the main topic of discussion, and where everyone is invited to participate (although one is never obligated to contribute. Participants listen, hold no judgment, and provide reassurance, feedback, and possible alternative ways to think about or better handle a troubling thought, experience, or emotion pertaining to what is brought up.
Finally, each group session ends with a closing meditation that calls back to the introductory session. Afterwards, we will inform everyone about next week’s session topic and look forward to the upcoming session!
